Corrections Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Accuracy matters, especially on topics that affect people’s financial decisions. Save. Plan. Retire. is committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. This page explains how corrections are handled.

Standard

When something published on the Site is found to be materially inaccurate, it is corrected. Content is not quietly deleted or rewritten to hide a mistake. Where a correction affects the substance or conclusion of an article, a correction note is added.

How Corrections Are Handled

  • Minor errors (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed without a formal note.
  • Substantive corrections (errors of fact, data, or reasoning that could affect a reader’s understanding) are corrected in the text, with a brief, dated correction note added at the bottom of the affected article describing what was changed.
  • Significant errors that materially change an article’s conclusion are corrected promptly and clearly flagged.

How to Report an Error

If you believe something on the Site is inaccurate, please get in touch. Include:

  • The page or article title (and a link, if possible);
  • The specific statement you believe is incorrect;
  • Any supporting source or explanation.

Send corrections to corrections@saveplanretire.com or use the Contact page.

Response

Every good-faith correction request is reviewed. Confirmed errors are corrected as described above. Where the content is determined to be accurate, the reasoning is explained where appropriate. Correction requests are addressed within a reasonable time.

Transparency

Acknowledging and fixing mistakes openly is part of being a trustworthy source. A visible corrections process is a feature.
