Loeper presented a resolution authorizing the Chairman to enter an Interlocal Agreement and Plan with Iron County Michigan regarding 911 dispatching services. He explained this will enable MSP dispatching rates for municipalities using MSP dispatching to be more competitively negotiated.

Commissioner Siirila brought up that there is only one company offering driver’s licensing tests in Michigan – located in Crystal Falls – providing these exams. He stated his search efforts to locate one who will offer testing in Gogebic County.

The Board did not act upon this motion.
