As you plan for retirement, the Concordia Savings Plan (CRSP) 403(b) may help ensure you have enough income to support your lifestyle in retirement.
As soon as it is time to retire, your CRSP contributions will automatically transition into another plan of your choice – such as Tax Sheltered Annuities (TSAs) or Health Savings Accounts. You may choose to continue contributing to CHP or obtain individual health care coverage via marketplace options, an employer plan or private insurers.
An CRP pension provides the foundation of your retirement income and provides peace of mind as you begin planning for your future. Designed specifically to assist with this journey, CRP pension is here for every stage of retirement journey.
As long as you’ve served for at least five years in either the Traditional Option or Account Option of the CRP, upon your retirement date you will become fully vested. Should you leave LCMS workforce before becoming fully vested, plan service will resume upon starting full-time employment elsewhere.
As an LCMS employee, basic life insurance coverage is included as part of your CRP plan as an employee benefit. This coverage can help safeguard against unexpected life circumstances by protecting both yourself and your loved ones in case anything comes your way unexpectedly.
